Dear Tribe of Many Colors, friends, and family

It is a new year and it is time for us to make decisions on what kind of year this will be for each of us. While we all face changes happening around us in our natural world due to climate change (some experiencing far greater changes in our lives than others) the most important thing we can do is try and stay positive and help each other where we can. As we are just beginning to see the effects climate change will bring it is important not to panic and not to give in to the anxiety, depression, and fear that can come along with it. It is called eco-anxiety and it is a very real thing affecting many of us especially our youth. I have spoken to many worried parents asking questions like “What do I tell my young children about the crisis we are facing such as animal extinction?” “How can I support the youth in their struggle to feel as though they have a suitable future?” “What can I do to help make a difference?” The answer to these questions is a personal one when it comes to our families but I would say the most important is that the youth of today feel seen and supported. It is important for us all to know the effects of climate change and to understand what we are facing today and for the years to come. However, instead of being overcome with the anxiety let us focus on the things we can do to better our environments. No matter where you live there are things you can do to better the world and choices you can make to bring a positive difference. When we become an active part of the solution instead of just worrying about what is happening our energy, our focus, and our outlook improve. Only you can choose to take the necessary steps to become part of the solution. Plant trees in your area, pick up trash, use sustainable and renewable eco-friendly products, eat less meat, teach your children how to care for and love nature and wildlife, use public transportation, recycle everything and buy less. There are so many things we can do to change our old habits and make a difference. The biggest mistake is thinking that the problem is too big for you to change anything! You can make a difference and your actions are important. This is your planet, treat Her with care! My biggest recommendation would be to stay focused on the positive, the beauty, the excitement of life and enjoy every moment while being conscious of the choices you make for a healthy and sustainable planet and future for our children.

Sacred Journey to Peru & Bolivia
PRAYING FOR THE AMAZON & SACRED CEREMONY

Elder Master Mallku & Little Grandmother Kiesha Sacred Journey Peru & BoliviaCeremonies for the Amazon Jungle, River and Ancient Indigenous Sites
In the last two years, I have consciously chosen to travel as little as possible to lessen my carbon footprint unless it is necessary or very important, and that time has come! The Amazon Rainforest and Amazon River are vital, important, irreplaceable and essential systems upon our planet that keep the very circle of life intact and they are under extreme threat. This vast region spans eight countries and accounts for over half of the planet’s remaining tropical forests (1.4 billion acres), 4,100 miles of winding rivers and 2.6 million square miles in the Amazon basin. It contains 1 in 10 known species on Earth, 40,000 plant species, 3,000 freshwater fish species, and it’s ALL under extreme threat of being destroyed. It is incredibly important for the prayers and ceremonies to be offered and given to honor, respect and protect that which is so vital for all of us and the health of our Mother Earth.

I have set up a trip with Incan Shaman, Master and archaeologist Mallku Wachuma who will personally guide us on an incredible, once in a lifetime journey to the Sacred places across Peru and Bolivia. Most importantly, the purpose of the trip is to go to the source, the beginning of the Amazon river, to conduct a very important and Sacred ceremony for the protection of our Amazon. Below you will see the itinerary and the extraordinary places we will be visiting and doing our work.

 Itinerary:
-SEPTEMBER 24. 01 DAY. LIMA
Arrive in Lima, reception and transportation to the hotel (confirm arrival time). -SEPTEMBER 25. 02 DAY. LIMA – PARAKAS – NAZCA
On this day you will travel in our bus to the South of Lima to connect with the Nazca lines! On the way we will stop in Parakas to offer respect to the spirit of the Ocean and will stay the night in the Nazca area. Only discovered after the era of the airplane, the magical Nazca Lines and images consisting of geometric shapes, beings and animals (some being over 300 feet wide and many miles long) were built by an ancient civilization that had no way of viewing their own creation. This fascinating area filled with mystery, ancient UFO and alien stories, ceremonial cities, ancient mummies and the incredible, elongated skulls will without a doubt open our minds to the wonders of our ancient ancestors.
-SEPTEMBER 26. 03 DAY. NAZCA – LIMA In the morning you will have an optional opportunity for a flight over the the amazing Nazca lines! Later that day we will visit a pottery specialist and learn about other ancient techniques of the pre-Inka masters. Then when we are ready we will return to Lima.-SEPTEMBER 27. 04 DAY. LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
Depart for our morning flight to Cusco. Reception and transportation to the Sacred Valley. On the way to our lodge, we will stop at Chinchero and visit the amazing Earth Altar. Discover the Magic Hatun Chinkana of this initiatory center. We will spend the night in the Sacred Valley. (VEGETARIAN LUNCH)
 -SEPTEMBER 28. 05 DAY. OLLANTAYTAMBO – MORAY
In the morning explore the absolutely unique and ancient Inka city of Ollantaytambo and be impressed by the high technology of architecture combined with spirit. In the afternoon visit Moray, an Inka site with circular terraces that used to create exceptional conditions or micro climates that fostered domestication, acclimatization, and hybridization of a wide array of wild vegetable species that were modified or adapted for human consumption. Return to the hotel for lodging.
-SEPTEMBER 29. 06 DAY. OLLANTA – AGUAS CALIENTES – WATERFALL
This morning we will take the train to the village of Aguas Calientes. From this village, we organize the walk to the Waterfall of Mandor within the jungle for ceremony.   The Waterfall of Mandor and sacred river to the Inca at the base of Machu Pichu just outside the village of Agues Calientes is an important stop and one that will mark a sacred moment in our trip. Here we will take time to connect, feel, and pray for the Amazon Jungle and all of Her inhabitants.. from the smallest ant to the greatest tree and each and every sentient being within. We will pray for Her protection, embrace Her with our love and help restore honor and gratitude for Her through our prayers our ceremony and our love. Our ceremony will be not only for the Amazon Jungle but also for the Amazon River as the waters that flow over these beautiful waterfalls will flow into the Amazon River and carry our prayers.-SEPTEMBER 30. 07 DAY. MACHU PIJCHU – CUSCO
Early in the morning, we will visit the famed city of Machu Pichu!! The legendary beauty of this magnificent city defies description. There are many trails and power sites to explore here, and we will have ample opportunity for ceremony to open to a deeper experience of the intrinsic magic of this amazing city and temples. Participate in inspiring spiritual ceremonies to enhance your connection with your divine self- a trans personal, transformational journey within. In the right time, we return on an afternoon train and bus to the Sacred Valley and Cusco for overnight.
 -OCTOBER 01. 08 DAY. KINSAQOCHA – PISAQ
We leave in the morning to discover an amazing place in nature with beautiful lakes, the opportunity to connect with the energy of the Apus and Water in KIMSAQOCHA. After this connection, we will visit the ancient Inka town of Pisaq. The entire mountain behind the village is considered an archaeological treasure, and for good reason. We are bussed several miles up to the top, from where we can hike downhill past ancient sites and burial grounds along an amazing trail with breathtaking views. We arrive at the Inka temples and observatories, we have a ceremony, then continue to a place where our bus has driven to meet us during one of the most beautiful walks in this region. At the right time continue to Cusco for overnight. (BOX LUNCH)
-OCTOBER 02. 09 DAY. INKA WAKAS & SAQSAYWAMAN
Today we visit Saqsaywaman, which is a huge, stunning site that holds the great house of the Sun, where the head of the Puma of Cusco resides. Its megalithic, zigzag stone walls were pieced together with amazing skill, drawing snakes and other Andean symbols the, like a lightning bolt across a great field. We continue to Amaru Machay, the cave of the Serpents, guided ceremonies at these powerful locations. Continue to Q’enqo, the sacred place of the Puma. Mallku is a specialist in Q’enqo and its rich lore and history. Return to Cusco and rest.
 -OCTOBER 03. 10 DAY. CUSCO – RAQCHI – LA RAYA ¨AMAZON RIVER¨ – PUNO
This is a beautiful ride and with all the stops, you will have the opportunity to register in your memories the power of the Apus or Mountain Spirits. We will stop at a very important vortex which gives birth to the sacred river of the Inkas as forming to Amazon river, important stop with ceremony of purification of the waters for the planet. We will arrive at our hotel in Puno in the late afternoon. (DINNER)Today is a special day and one of the main reasons for putting this trip together, today is the day we do ceremony for the Amazon River. This location was chosen specifically because the water coming down from the peaks of the Andes Mountain Range create the Amazon River and also flow into tributaries of Lake Titikaka. We will perform a power water ceremony and we will each take part in offering our prayers, crystals, protection, and blessings for this extremely important water!
-OCTOBER 04. 11 DAY. AMANTANI ISLAND – THE CENTER OF LIGHT
This morning we cross the highest navigable lake in the world to the island of Amantani. The spirit of the island will lead us in a Power Offering for Pachamama. Amantani Island is located 38 km from the city of Puno, 3,810 meters above sea level, 3,5 hours by motorboat. Amantani is a beautiful island with warm and hospital inhabitants. Its greatest attraction is based on the social, ethnic and archaeological aspects. Among its most important and well-known places are the temples of Pachatata and Pachamama dedicated to the cult of the Earth. From there on you can have an excellent panoramic view of the lake, as well as a view of the oriental mountain range and the Bolivian side with its mountain range. This night we share with the locals and stay in their homes. (LUNCH + DINNER)
Lake Titikaka is the resting place of the last of the sacred seven crystals I was entrusted with as Little Grandmother to go back into the healing grid for Mother Earth. It is a deeply profound and sacred place I wish to share with you and where we will do a small ceremony to connect with the crystal and the sacred waters-OCTOBER 05. 12 DAY. TEMPLES OF THE LIGHT – PUNO
Early in the morning, we ascend to the temples of Pachatata and Pachamama where we present our offering to Pachamama and to life; these temples represent the evidence of the hight wisdom of the Andean ancestors and due to its isolation is still preserved even in our time, the scenery is gorgeous and experiment this island is one of the greatest memories. After some lunch, we boat back to the continent and will have our transportation to Puno and have a free afternoon. -OCTOBER 06. 13 DAY. PUNO – TIWANAKU (BOLIVIA) – AJAYU MARKA – PUNO
Very early departure to the Bolivian side to connect with the Solar center of Tiwanaku, visit and inner ceremony. When we are ready, we return to the Peruvian side and stop on the way at the ancient Aimara altars as we walk the sacred path on the Magical Serpent and explore the Ajayu Marka, a dimensional world with its doors. Overnight Puno. (LUNCH)

There is a site within Tiwanaku called Puma Punku, this site is the most unexplainable ancient site in the world consisting of giant blocks of stone weighing in over 100 tons that have been carved with perfect right angles and drill holes and built in alignment with the stars some 15,000 years ago. Not to mention the stones used to build this ancient site belong to a mountain top 90 kilometers away on the other side of Lake Titicaca. (Remember this site is much, much older than the Inca empire (in 1438) and the Inca had no wheel, no suitable timber or even working domesticated animals and only had stone tools.) Puma Punku is a mysterious and most incredible place and is a site I have waited nearly all my life to witness first hand and one of the main purposes I have created this trip!-OCTOBER 07. 14 DAY. PUNO – SILLUSTANI – LIMA – HOME
Morning visit to the Andean Taj Majal in Sillustani, another sacred site for our closing ritual and circle, then transfer to the airport for our flight to Lima, arrival and transfer to the hotel. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: please email Joyce, beautyawakens@gmail.com for further information and reservation of the trip.PLEASE NOTICE: Limited seats available!! MORE INFO CLICK HERE

Animal Totem reading by Little Grandmother
Your Animal Totem          Animal totems, why do we have them and what do they mean?

Since I was eight years old, I could see a particular animal in the center of each person’s chest. The animal totem is there to teach you and guide you throughout your life.

When you know what your animal totem is, you can become more aware of its presence. You can be grateful for the animal totem being with you and grateful for its guidance and its blessings in your life. When you know what your animal totem is, you must learn all you can about this animal. What are its abilities? What are its strengths and weaknesses? Knowing these things you can learn so much more about yourself. You can also learn about what elements can help you. If your animal totem is a water animal, water is very powerful for you. It can be calming and energy empowering. If you have an earth animal like the badger or an armadillo who burrow into the ground, your strongest element would be the soil. This will help ground you and center your energy and bring you peace of mind and heart.
